Antony Makrinos is currently a full-time Teaching Fellow in Classics at UCL and Director of the Summer School in Homer 2016. His academic interests include Homer, scholarship in Byzantium, especially reception of the Homeric epics with emphasis on allegorical interpretation, ancient education and modern receptions of the Homeric epics. He is currently working on Eustathius’ Commentary on Homer’s book I of the Odyssey and on a new Companion to Homer to be published by Brill.
